Hailey: Forest Model shoot

You know when you meet those people that are so perfect to shoot with? Well, Hailey is one of those people. We met yesterday during this shoot, and she is beautiful, fun, adventurous, and so dang photogenic! We made plans to put together some super fun fall shoots, and I am so excited! 

We also bonded over our struggles of being photographers in Rexburg, Idaho. There are seriously hundreds of photographers in this tiny town, and sometimes that makes it hard to find jobs. I constantly feel like I have to compete with everyone around me, or charge practically nothing in order to get work. I'm sure many others can relate...It is SO frustrating! 

However... this past week, as I have been taking pictures of the best people, I reminded myself that I don't do photography for money. I do it because I love it! I love meeting new people, being creative with them, and making things happen in pictures, and then sharing those moments with others. 

If you are in this same boat, take a step back and remember that a passion should never be left behind because others share the same one, or because some people are better or more talented. :) We can all be passionate together!
