Me & Matt: 2 year anniversary ♡
This shoot was such a dream! Matt and I have been married two years and I cannot believe it! Time is just flying by and I never seem like our days together are long enough. Being married has its ups and downs...obviously. But the ups are so worth it!
I love how he makes me laugh and puts up with all of my complaining. I complain a lot...I am much more pessimistic than he is, but somehow our personalities blend together perfectly. I am so beyond grateful for him and the relationship that we have built. I cannot wait for our future. Soon we will graduate, move to a new city and have more adventures together.
I look forward to getting our first house…painting it and fixing all the broken things. I cannot wait to have a family and become parents and learn as we go because who really knows anything about raising children? I cannot wait to have real jobs and paychecks that can pay more than just rent so we can actually buy nice stuff! Simply put, I’m excited about the future, but I am also so grateful for NOW. It is common to always look on the other side of the fence, hoping and dreaming for better things. Take a look at what you have right now, and be thankful. I am thankful for our overpriced apartment and for our life in Rexburg…even though there is nowhere decent to shop and nothing to do past 9:00 pm. Can you hear my pessimism kicking in? Haha. Life is so beautiful no matter what, when you share it with someone you love.
Now…let’s talk about this SHOOT! This amazing photographer (Samantha, aka honey seed photography) who I am totally in love with took these photos for us. She really captured our personalities in these images and I will treasure them forever. It was so fun to dress up in our wedding clothes again. Who says you can only wear your dress once!? We went to a campground in Rexburg Idaho on the most perfect day ever. I felt like our love was renewed through this shoot. It brought me back to when we first got engaged, and then the dreamlike memory of our wedding quickly followed. If you want a quick way to rekindle the passion with your spouse…do a super romantic photoshoot! It will work wonders.
