Meet Sam
Sam and I met up this weekend and did a quick shoot in my new favorite location! I want to do all my shoots in this field! It so is wild and free. I hesitated about posting these photos because I'm worried that other photographers will want to steal Sam away. She is FREAKIN GORGEOUS! We have some fun stuff planned in the future that you guys will LOVE, so stay tuned.
I'm currently laying in bed and I really just don't want to do anything today. I love the weekends because Matt and I cuddle up on the couch and watch Psych and eat pizza. But I have to remember, that if everyday was a weekend, cuddles and Netflix would eventually get boring (who am I kidding that would be awesome) and I would totally take it for granted. So...here's to the work week, school week, or whatever responsibilities you have. It all makes the weekend sweeter. :)
I want to write about something that has been on my mind lately. It involves making a difference, and making opportunities happen! It may not seem like answering phones all day, or spending hours doing homework, or taking care of helpless children accounts for much, but you're wrong. You have the potential to make countless opportunities during these moments, and in the moments in between.
The times when you make an effort to talk to someone at work, (maybe it turns into a friendship). The moment you get home from work, and instead of sitting on the couch, you make dinner for your husband and tell him he means the world to you. The decision to go outside and have an adventure, to help someone in need, to say yes to a friend. All of these little moments start something.
A life can be fulfilling, if you cherish every moment. I often imagine my future with Matt and it is always the same clear picture. We are sitting together, eating dinner in our home, laughing about something. This glimpse makes me smile because I am not worried about what jobs we will have, I am not thinking abut bills or car troubles, or drama. It is about two people in love, making a life together. Make a life for yourself filled with happiness, laughter, and good food :)
Make things happen.
Matt shared this quote with me and I want to share it with all of you: "What is the point of life, if you never even make a ripple?"
